Vienna, Austria — Argentine composer and conductor Julia Sanchez has been selected to participate in the 2026 edition of the Vienna Composition Lab, taking place in Vienna from August 3 to 12.
The international program brings together composers and professional musicians around the creation of new musical works, through a process encompassing writing, collaboration with performers, rehearsal, and recording.
During her participation, Julia Sanchez will develop a new composition conceived specifically for the program, which will be rehearsed with a professional ensemble during the final days of the laboratory.
